While in Mangaluru, Dhananjaya spent his free time watching Tulu dramas and Yakshagana performances, despite having limited knowledge of the Tulu language. He found that art transcends language barriers, emphasizing the importance of the connection it fosters. Dhananjaya greatly appreciates how the coastal region has preserved its traditional art forms, believing that the essence of a place lies in its language, art, and culture.
During his visit, Dhananjaya was fortunate to witness the tiger dance and even had the opportunity to perform on stage, showcasing a talent for dance that he explored further in his film "Kotee."
